This month we are proud to welcome to our team Head Chef  Matthew Collins and Senior Sous Chef  Mark Beale. Now, with a seriously great team of chefs in our kitchen we are ecstatic in being able to offer our customers the best, freshest, home-cooked food ever.

Our chefs work hard every day baking fresh bread, making chutneys, pates and our own gourmet ice creams.

Next Wednesday the 5th May we will be serving a selection of our home-made gourmet ice creams at the bar from around 7pm . Customers are welcome to come in and sample our new selection including white chocolate and basil, lemon and avocado ,jack daniels and double chocolate brownie, strawberry tomato and mint sorbet. Our delicious ice cream menu will also include some of the more traditional flavours to cater for all tastes.   

 

We also welcome Baby Archie to the family who was born on Monday 19th April at 6.36 am. This is why the landlord and Landlady were not at the Food Tasting evening!

Also, for those who attended the food tasting evening and did not receive their 10% discount voucher, they will be available to collect from behind the bar, just ask a member of staff.

Car Boot Sales – every other Saturday starting 15th May we will be holding a car boot sale in our lower car park, starting from 8.30 am and finishing around midday.  So if you have anything you wish to sell then come along and get your space early! We will be about from 8 am. One car space is £5. Our chefs will be serving breakfasts and teas, coffees and juices from 8.30 am. We look forward to seeing you.

Our fantastic Sunday carvery is served between 12  and 8.30pm. Bookings are advisable as we can get very busy.

 

2 meals for £10 on Mondays and Tuesdays.  6 til 9.30pm.
